Eindhoven is by far the uncrowned swimming capital of the Netherlands. This is mainly due to the local hero whose name now graces this giant swimming complex. He has inspired heaps of youngsters to turn their attention to the pool since winning three gold medals at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
