Umami by Han

Han Ji is a famous name in the Dutch restaurant scene and you'll find a handful of these restaurants throughout the Netherlands, but Umami by Jan is all about the 'shared dining' experience. Small fusion courses of Asian/French origin are served in a modern and stylish setting, which includes a small terrace up front. Unfortunately, this small street is quite popular with motorists too, so you shouldn't expect much peace or quiet outside. Inside we recommend dishes like panko scallops, seabass sashimi or Bangkok prawns, which are all cooked to perfection. The management should, however, spend some more time training its lacklustre staff and the toilets could use some major improvement. The steep prices for water also caught us unawares.
