During home and away games of the local football club this is one of the best spots in town to meet some diehard FC Groningen fans. Just make sure you're not wearing a team jersey of their arch rivals Ajax (Amsterdam), Feyenoord (Rotterdam) or FC Twente (Enschede). On other days Boone, which was named after the nickname of the father of the current owner, is a small brown bar with no frills.
