On a small island like Schiermonnikoog it's easy to orientate, but this small hotel has two giant 'neighbours', which makes it even harder to get lost. Almost halfway situated between two of the most famous landmarks (the church and the lighthouse), lies 'De Tjattel', which is even for Dutch people hard to pronounce. Fifteen renovated rooms are divided over two floors (no elevator), with most rooms containing huge local landscape photo's. The hotel, who's name refers to an old legend about a ...kettle, even has its on restaurant attached. And although the size of the hotel may be small, the friendly generosity of the staff and owners is way much higher.
