Mendini

The restaurant in the Groninger Museum - but open to all - is named after the building's Italian architect, and it serves good Dutch snacks (including local mustard soup and cheese) and Italian hot meals as well as drinks, coffee and cake. The museum's quirky design continues in the restaurant: the interior was designed by artist Maarten Baas, who modelled all the furniture from synthetic clay.
