Time Out

Since 1976 Time Out has been an institution in the Groningen nightlife scene. If all 50,000 students who inhabit the city would squeeze in a bit and hold their breath, most of them would probably fit into this giant bar on two floors. In fact, two separate buildings were combined to create this spacious and modern bar where many different architectural styles have been brought successfully together. In the cooler months of the year the fire place in the back is a crowd pleaser as are the juicy spareribs and perfectly marinated Indonesian satay.
