Klassiek is the Dutch word for classic, and that word seems to sum up Café Klassiek in a nutshell. The interior is graced by chic chandeliers and guests are waited on like kings by the stately staff which of course is completely appropriate in this distinguished building that dates back to 1746. This is also one of the few places in the city where good champagne and prosecco are served. Despite its grandeur, Café Klassiek doesn't make one feel like they're at a museum. It's cosy, stylish and has plenty of character.
