Onyx Restaurant

  V. Vörösmarty tér 7-8      (+36-1) 429 9023     more than a year ago
The first restaurant in Budapest to be awarded a Michelin star was the neo-baroque Onyx, which is a kind of temple moderne to haute cuisine. Expect small portions of exquisitely well prepared food and impeccable service is the order of the day, including a sommelier on hand to guide you through a serious wine list. Compared to similar places in Western Europe, it is actually not terribly expensive, especially if you take advantage of their luncheon specials - A three course lunch available between 12 and 130pm for a very reasonable 5990 HUF.
