Saba

Diving & Snorkelling

share
All 28 possible dives must be done within the protected Saba Marine Park, which was established in 1987 to preserve and manage the island's marine resources. A system of mooring buoys is set up for the dive boats as no anchorage is allowed within the park. The furthest boat ride is 27 minutes away. A Marine Park fee of $3 per person, per dive, is collected by the island dive centres on behalf of the Saba Conservation Foundation. The visibility underwater is simply astonishing. All proceeds are used to maintain and improve the Saba Marine Park. Our favourites are the Third Encounter, Man of War Shoals and the Ladder Labyrinth. Snorkellers are welcome during the second dive of the day, when the three diving schools normally go to shallower areas. Torrens Point has an incredible variety of marine life and colourful reefs for snorkellers.
