Saba isn't home to must-see architecture or spectacular museums, but that doesn't mean that you'll be bored on a Caribbean island completely devoid of beaches. The whole of Saba is in fact one big postcard largely due to a local law that requires that all houses must 'be pleasingly uniform and built in a harmonious style of architecture'. The result is a collection of cottages with green or red shutters and red-roofed white-sided houses with gingerbread-style trim that blends in naturally with the surrounding green hills.
