Kings Well Resort

Without a doubt, this is our favourite place to crash on St. Eustatius, but we have to admit that you absolutely must be an animal-lover to appreciate this mini-version of the local zoo. In addition to two giant Great Danes, Kings Well is also home to iguanas, macaws, various species of birds we didn't recognise and cats not to mention goldfish. Its unique location perched high on a cliff is also a major advantage, especially if you enjoy idyllic sunsets. But our rave review doesn't end here. If all this weren't enough, the friendly owners and hosts are so great that you'll be adding them to your Christmas card list by the time you check out. Rooms are spacious, clean and come with high ceilings and some include balconies. The hotel restaurant is also quite good and the beach, cafés, historic sites and other attractions are only a short walk away.
