Our favourite beach on the island includes nearly 3km of deserted black beach and tremendous views of the ocean. It also happens to be the main nesting site of sea turtles, but unfortunately the undertow is dangerous on this side of the island and a proper clean-up of the beach would make it much more alluring. Bring your own food and drinks as the nearest bar is located inside a nearby local brothel.
