Bahnhöfli

The artsy Bahnhöfli lies right next to Lucerne's main station and serves burgers salads and the like, but with its satin chairs and pillows, colourful flowers and random items like old briefcases and plush toys as decoration it's also a charming place for a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We chose the Real Egg Burger, a Swiss prime beef burger with fresh tomatoes, bacon, fried egg (surprise surprise), onions, iceberg lettuce served with smoked ketchup in a wheat-maize bun. Bring a big appetite as the burgers are massive here. We really enjoyed the meal, the meat was juicy, the vegetables fresh, the smoked ketchup was sweet and tangy at the same time and the eggs and bacon added some extra flavour.
