Mooraculum Sörenberg

Nature lovers will be happy to know that you'll find a fascinating protected moor landscape at Rossweid above Sörenberg. The Mooraculum adventure park was created to educate its visitors about this unique natural habitat, as more than 90% of Switzerland's exisiting moors have dissapeared in the past 100 years or so. Kids (and adults) can learn in a fun, playful way why it's important to preserve moors and how to do it via several little adventures in the moor waterpark. A train and a bus (change to the bus in Schüpfheim) from Lucerne will bring you to Sörenberg in a little over an hour. From there a cable car takes you up to Rossweid. The area is also a perfect place for hiking and walking for the whole family and a restaurant is available at Rossweid.
