Barfüsser in the Niederdorf district is a sushi restaurant and a bar in one. The sushi is good and the fish is mainly bought from sustainable sources. The long bar counter connects the restaurant with the bar area where a range of drinks are on offer to fuel your evening out. The sofas in the lounge make it easy to strike up a conversation with other guests and DJs occasionally ply their trade to add a little extra ambience. Although Barfüsser has a long history as a gay haven dating back to the repressive 1950s, these days you probably wouldn't realise that it's a gay bar, as the crowd is quite mixed. Sushi is served until 22:00 or 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
