The unimposing Gotthard is a pleasant change from the usual hip cocktail bars that have sprouted up around Langstrasse. The venue is plain and the bar staff easy-going and chilled not unlike the alternative and open crowd that frequents the place. This is strictly a bar and does what a bar does best: it serves all kinds of drinks. On the weekend there's often a DJ or a band which keep the revellers awake until the early morning.
