The speciality of this dive bar in the Wiedikon district is mead, an alcoholic beverage made of honey, water and spices. They have more than 100 different kinds from all over the world in stock, and while it's served in a glass when you order it, true connoisseurs drink the sweet nectar from a horn, or even a Viking helmet! But that's not all. The welcome shot is served in a skull - a plastic one, but still a unique touch. The young crowd, usually dressed in dark clothing, loves rock and metal music and knows how to party, but have no fear. Everyone is really friendly at this eccentrically cordial place - even to middle-aged guys in colourful shirts, like us.
