As the name suggests, this is a food shop selling speciality foods and ingredients, much of which is imported and not easy to find elsewhere in Georgia. Fish and lobster are imported twice a week by air from a seafood supplier in Holland. Deliveries are usually on a Sunday and a Wednesday. Seafood can be ordered as part of the shop’s delivery and brought directly to individual customers Organic foods are produced exclusively for Grand Gourmet by two Georgian monasteries. Shavnabada provides corn fed chicken and quail. Phoka Monestary produces jams, honey, chocolate, biscuits and sweets. Phoka also makes cheeses, the monks having learnt during studies with cheese experts in France. Grand Gourmet has its own attached restaurant, Café Hemmingway. Also at Rustaveli Ave. 37.
