Although the name suggests otherwise, this café is open all year round for anyone who wants a day out and some fresh air. The café, which opened in 1936, is the perfect starting point for a bike ride or a walk through Moerenburg Landscape Park. Inside you can sit next to the decades old coal stove and order a fresh salad or a soup. All of the ingredients come from one of the garden allotments across the street, so you know they're fresh. In the summer you can relax on the covered terrace or enjoy the summer sun. Zomerlust offers a big Sunday breakfast and also serves as an information centre for the Moerenburg park.
