We're not usually keen on restaurants based on two different concepts, but El Caso, which opened in late 2012, is a pleasant exception to this unwritten rule. Although the owner was apparently unable to choose between Italian and Spanish cuisine, we were pleased with both the tapas and the pizza. This attractive corner restaurant is also a good place for lunch and we wholeheartedly recommend the El Caso sandwich stuffed with a kind of taco filling. The walls are adorned with all kinds of Spanish vistas and this theme has even been extended to the toilets. Men can get rid of their superfluous ballast behind the door decorated with a matador, while ladies can use the entrance with a female flamenco dancer.
