The warehouse basements along the canals in Utrecht are unique to the city and therefore draw quite a few tourists. Unfortunately many of these buildings are often stuffy and a bit damp. River Kwai seems to suffer from this too, though not enough to spoil your dinner. The service is incredibly friendly and the food is reasonably priced, but the vegetarian dishes are too bland for a Thai restaurant and the interior is cheaply decorated with lots of grubby plastic and linoleum.
