After the Second World War, Utrecht, like many other cities in the Netherlands, began a commission policy for visual arts in public space.  At this moment, the municipal art collection consists of more than 400 statues. You’ll come across statues in all shapes and sizes. They have one thing in common: each statue has an unusual story.
