To say that this place is a pleasant ‘games bar’ with a cosy, pub-like atmosphere pretty much sums up the Stichtse Taveerne. It’s one of the few establishments where you can always find a place to sit and if you’re lucky maybe even get a spot on the balcony at the back overlooking the canal. You can play pool, billiards, darts or one of the many board games on offer and smokers who still haven't kicked the habit can indulge their addiction in a separate room.
