Nezavisimost is the main square of Varna and one of the most emblematic places since the Liberation in 1878. Formerly named "Musalla", as it was in the vicinity of the old Muslim cemetery, and renamed Nezavisimost to honour of Bulgaria's independence.
You can take a walk there and see the beautiful building of the Drama Theatre located in the central part of the pedestrian area or have a cup of coffee enjoying the impressive architecture of the square.
