City Pub

Loud and busy pub in the town centre close to the Tourist Info Centre. Done out like an American bar, though the website says its an Irish pub. Either way, it is owned and run by Bulgarians. A large curved bar provides the link between the smoking and non-smoking sections that have recently been separated off by a glass wall. The smoke, of course, can still make its way through the open bar area. Large screens show music TV or sports depending on the time of day. The menu offers salads and quick main courses such as chicken fillets fried in cornflakes. We are told the fried chicken hearts are delicious. Outdoor dining on the pavement.
