The grand hotel from communist times has just celebrated its 30th anniversary and is undergoing serious renovation.

The guest rooms, wellness area and restaurants are already fully modernised, leaving only the foyer for the autumn. The enormous terrace overlooking the Yantra river sports a new look with modern lounge furniture.

Spacious gardens and a children's play area as well as a large traditional-style barbeque restaurant all make use of the lovely outdoor setting down by the river Yantra.
