The Coronation Cathedral is situated in the Alba Carolina fortress and it was built in the 20th century. Its court is famous due to the coronation ceremony of Romanian King Ferdinand and his English queen, Marie, which took place here. The architectural style is particularly distinguished by the fact that it has the form of a Greek cross, large arches and columns with capitals.
