St. Michael's Cathedral is a unique monument situated in the Alba Carolina fortress. The cathedral was built in the 11th century and it’s representative of two of the most important architectural styles: Gothic and Romanesque This cathedral is recognised as being the oldest (and the highest) in Romania.
