The modern 'Kabashi table' guesthouse near the centre of Puka pays respect to the traditions, culture and history of one of the oldest tribes in Puka district. There are comfortable wood-furnished rooms, and a restaurant serving very reasonably-priced local meals - think roast meat, home-made sausage and cheese, and cornbread in brine.
