Not far from Nivica, the Ujëvara e Peshturës waterfall near Progonat village really does its best to impress, with water cascading 40 metres down into a pool, only to be catapulted another 40m down through a stone arch. The crystal-clear, cold water is perfect for a dip. At 900 metres high, Progonat was formerly a large and prosperous village - there are still several cheese makers and honey producers, and it remains known for its cherry, walnut and chestnut trees. Now, once a year the emigrants and their children return to the ancestral village for the 'meeting of generations' festival, with traditional singing and dance. Above the village, Mema e Ujit is another partially explored cave, this one at least 800 metres long, and featuring stalactites.
