How better to replace the greasy glare of Stalin than with a monumental statue of the female personification of Armenia? Mother Armenia stands tall above Victory Park, proudly defending her capital with all the intensity and grace required. The statue sits on top of a charming pedestal designed to replicate an Armenian church, and the whole thing clocks in at a whopping 51 meters tall. A very famous landmark, to be sure.
