Cecil Hotel

This pretty neoclassical building was once a rather high-class establishment, thanks to its French style rooms and its belle époque feel. That’s probably why many Greek film scenes set in France are shot here instead of on site: it’s a lot cheaper! You are guaranteed to experience gangster movie flashbacks thanks to a historic early 20th century elevator (still operational). All in all, this is definitely a distinctive choice.
