Dedicated to the history and practice of warfare, it holds an important collection of war memorabilia from the Mycenaean Period up to present-day Greece, with special focus on the Second World War, the War in Korea and the Cyprus War. The architecture of the building itself is very original, as it is one of the most representative examples of the avant-garde architectural movement in Athens during the 1950s. The historical fighter planes at the entrance are also worth seeing.
