Cardamom Pod

There are few moments in life when we're more contented than slicing into a perfectly cooked steak or devouring a gourmet burger with extra bacon, in other words, we are decidedly not vegetarians. Nevertheless, we'll happily admit to visiting Broadbeach's Cardamom Pod on a regular basis, as good food is good food, vegetarian or not. Dishes such as the spiced kofta balls and marinated tofu pockets are packed with flavour and even the salads are satisfying, while saving room for dessert is a must – the pumpkin cheesecake is heavenly. A second location is now open in Southport's Brickworks Centre, which opens at 7:30 and does amazing fresh breakfasts.
