The food at this Italian restaurant is enough of a draw - rated TripAdvisor’s #1 on the Gold Coast at the time of writing - but it’s unique selling point is the presence of chef David de Vito, of Australia’s Got Talent fame. This might sound like a gimmick, but David had more than 10 years’ experience as a chef before finding TV fame and then opening this popular eatery. There’s a short and well-produced menu of Italian classics, although no pizza, along with some Australian dishes. Perhaps not the best place for quiet, uninterrupted conversation, but for great food and nightly entertainment, it really can’t be beat.
