By our rough calculation approximately 95% of all the newly opened cafés in town have signage with white lettering on black backgrounds, so we appreciate ESPL's willingness to buck trends, throw caution to the wind and shake things up by using black lettering on a white background – well done guys! In all seriousness, this small, inviting coffee shop tucked away in a corner of the Soul Boardwalk underneath the Gold Coast's second tallest building most likely makes the best coffee that you'll find within a few steps of Surfers Paradise beach, and also stays open later than most cafes in town, so you can still get your late afternoon pick-me-up after a day surfing or sunbaking.
