Few cities can lay claim to as central a regional spot as Banja Luka. This is the heart of the Balkans, a vital city easily accessible from Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia alike. The city has good regional bus and rail links, but improvements will need to be made to the stations as the number of tourists increase. The international airport is well ahead on this front, slowly improving along with the extra visitors coming through the gate. There is some way to go, but Banja Luka’s transport facilities are in place to make the necessary refinements.
