Harmonious history allied with serenity and simplicity, there’s a lot more to this magnificent wooden church than quirky alliteration. Construction came in 1745 but there are more than enough clues to suggest a much longer history, this Crkva Brvnara is found high on a hill surrounded by verdant nature just a kilometre or so away from Slatina Spa. The church itself is simplicity personified but the interior is vibrant as anything, colourful icons protecting the faithful from the walls.
