Traditional Banja Luka souvenirs made from the hands of local people, shopping in Banja Luka doesn’t come much more authentic than Duga. Found in the centre of town (a short walk from the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour), Duga (Rainbow in English) is the product of the first NGO in Republika Srpska, established to help empower unemployed women in the region. That alone makes it worth a look, but the souvenirs back up the good intentions and then some.
