We’ve found our happy place. Janjske Otoke (Janj’s Islands) is a small settlement not too far from Šipovo, a collection of small houses intermingled with delectable waterfalls and the sort of tranquility that must be experienced. The combination of stunning nature and unbeatable hospitality makes Janjske Otoke a prime example of the magic of this part of the world, the sort of place we’d happily stay at for the rest of our days. Rooms are available from as low as €10 a night, which is quite frankly preposterous.
