Top 5 Souvenirs in Bath

more than a year ago
Bath is the sort of city that will stick in your mind for a very long time, a beautiful town that will encourage dreams of upping sticks and setting up shop in a Georgian townhouse, once that lottery win comes in. We wholeheartedly recommend picking up a souvenir or five in the meantime, to take a little bit of Bath home with you (before those numbers come up and that big win comes in…).

Bath Gin

Have we ever done a ‘Top 5 Souvenirs’ without recommending booze of some kind? We’re not sure. Either way, Bath Gin might just be the best in the UK and you can buy some beautiful bottles from The Bath Distillery, so pick something up for that ever-growing home bar.

Aqua Glass

Bath has a long tradition of glassmaking so of course it’ll make a great souvenir — you might even be able to learn how to do it in the process. Colourful glass products are the best way to go, brightly painted ornaments and baubles to light up your home.

Bath Rugby Merchandise

Rather uniquely in England, rugby takes precedent over football in Bath. Bath has been one of the top teams in English domestic rugby over the past 30 years, with six domestic titles and one European Championship to its name. The club has plenty of merchandise available, although we’re generally partial to a little rugby ball or a cute teddy bear, if available.

Charlotte Brunswick Chocolate

Chocolate is always an excellent gift choice, so why not make a move for the oldest chocolate seller in the city? You won’t find better examples of the sweet stuff in Bath than at Charlotte Brunswick Chocolates, a citywide institution since the 18th century.

Architecture Replica

You could pick up some Jane Austen merchandise or even a bottle of Bath water, but we’re going to give the final spot to a mini-replica of one of the city’s beautiful buildings. Bath is defined by its incredible architecture and alluring atmosphere, and taking home a mini version of the Royal Crescent or The Circus is a no-brainer.
