For overblown formality, Belarusian style, the grand restaurant in the Juravinka business complex takes first prize. That’s not to say you won’t have a quality experience here complete with top-notch chefs and silly dance numbers to boot. They probably even have doctors standing by for when they give you the bill. But you don’t have to spend through the nose to have a good time here. You can throw a few gutter balls in the bowling club downstairs or try the more affordable dining in the Lasunak café (also a decent drinking place), which has picture-perfect riverside seating when the weather’s warm.
