The origins of the Minsk State Circus date to 1930 and the construction of a tent in what’s now Gorky Park. Today’s building took four years to complete and was opened to the public on February 11, 1959. Completely renovated in 2010, the circus now also boasts a hotel for visiting performers and a museum.
