The Belfast Giants debuted at the sparkly new Odyssey Arena in December 2000 and quickly established a loyal following. The non-sectarian, community-friendly team ticks all the right boxes and, with many Canadian players in the squad, the Giants continue to attract an impressive fan base. The team competes in the UK Elite League Championship (which they have won five times up to 2018-19) and EIHL Challenge Cup Champions (which they have won four times up to 2021-22). The season runs Sept-April.
