Killyhevlin Hotel & Spa

A silvery slither of lake enveloped by lush green scenery sets the tone for a relaxing stay at the Killyhevlin Hotel & Spa. The four star family-owned ‘Killy’ has been as much a part of the local landscape as its picturesque surroundings. And with a recent spa revamp, that luxurious lakeside escape just got even more tempting.

Bright and spacious accommodation encompasses contemporary hotel bedrooms and 14 self-catering Lakeside Lodges. Choose from Classic and Premier Rooms, or spread out in a Family Room with two double beds or Signature Suite with Jacuzzi bath and those gorgeous Lough Erne views. And if you aren’t opting for a suite yet crave that tranquil vista, ask for a Lakeview Guest Room upgrade.

Each lodge has two twin-bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, lounge and bathroom, making them ideal for family and friend get-togethers. Private jetties can be booked for boaters and anglers keen to make the most of that delightful shoreline locale.

A fantastic swimming pool features hydrotherapy jets and a kids’ section, and is surrounded by steam and sauna rooms and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Lime & Ginger Salt Glow, Frangipani Body Nourish Wrap and the Killyhevlin Signature Aroma Massage are among the indulgent Elemis Spa specials. Men's Treatments ensure the other half enjoys some detox down-time, while Mother-To-Be Massages make the most of those precious pre-baby moments.

Throughout the hotel, the staff are among the friendliest we have ever met. Everyone seems to take personal pride in the ‘Killy’ and the status it holds among locals and its many returning visitors. And nowhere is this more apparent than in the restaurants where you can dine informally at the Lakeside Grill & Bar or enjoy an a la carte experience at Kove restaurant. Each menu reflects the county’s rich food heritage; expect succulent braised lamb shank, confit duck leg and salmon fillet followed by gluttonous desserts designed to loosen the belt a notch or two.

The hotel’s setting may exude serenity, but the bustling town of Enniskillen is a mere mile away. Whether you seek a luxurious retreat, days and nights out in and around Enniskillen, or a bit of both, a stay at the Killyhevlin really does reveal one of our most stunning counties.

The 82mile/132km journey takes c. 1hr 40mins from Belfast city centre by car or 2hr 10mins by bus. The bus stops outside the hotel.
