The magical Mourne Mountains make for one of the country's most delightful daytrips, and this local tour company can take you there in style. From Belfast, the ultra modern air-con coach heads to Downpatrick where you'll visit the burial place of St. Patrick and historic Down County Gaol. Prison break over, the coach then wends its way to Newcastle where you have an hour or so to explore this bustling seaside town with its myriad of cafes, shops, amusement arcades and, of course, sandy beach and dramatic mountain backdrop. The coach then travels through the Mournes and past the pretty seaside towns of Rostrevor and Warrenpoint before dipping across the border and into the picturesque, loughshore town of Carlingford. After another hour or two exploring its sights, shops and eateries, it's back on-board for the relaxing journey home.
