The gastronomic rivalry between Moscow and St. Petersburg is getting cranked up a notch: Big Wine Freaks, the St. Petersburg wine and dine powerhouse, has opened its doors on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street. As in the northern capital, Moscow’s BWF focuses on biodynamic wine, craft champagne and rare samples from small wineries all over the world. The stylish and sexy interior is the work of the famous B-Arch architecture studio and the creative yet laconic food menu was developed by Marat Kalaidzhan. On some weekends, all of Moscow’s big wine freaks can also enjoy a bit of a dance when a DJ pays the establishment a visit.
