Ljubljana's most popular, and our personal favourite, classic pool hall now has a new in the centre of town, on Slovenska Cesta underneath the Bavarski Dvor business district. The large premises are divided into several different areas, with an American-style diner in front, another large dining area and bar further back that opens into the actual pool hall, and even a large smoking tucked away to one side - the latter with walls cheekily decorated with various celebrities smoking (our hometown Seattle pride somewhat ironically welled up inside of us at the sight of Kurt Cobain). In addition to all the brand new tables, dart boards, pinball machines and other brand new amenities, this location also features a bistro with a full menu, from breakfast through to late night snacks. The bright, sparkling venue also hosts various concerts (primarily rock), as well as some billiards tournaments - it is a pool hall after all. Open late every night, while early birds can shoot pool from 8:00-12:00 in the morning for only €3 per hour.
