Just 50km south of Kaunas and less than an hour away by road, Birštonas is close to the main Vilnius-Marijampolė highway and just a few kilometres east of the Via Baltica. There’s no train station, but a handful of daily buses ensure that those travelling by public transport will be able to arrive and leave in relative comfort. Once there, almost everything to be seen can be found within easy walking distance of the centre.
