Whisky is an altogether more serious drink, so it is great to see bars like Black Rock in Shoreditch. There is a brooding quality to the place that can only come with a glass of whisky, although that whole ‘drink from a tree’ thing is a bit mad. Keep an eye out for the frequent tasting events.
